Vishnu (Sanskrit:
is a Vedic Supreme God (including his different avatars) in Hinduism, and is
venerated as the Supreme Being in Vaishnavism. He is also known as Narayana or Hari (See Keshava
Namas) and is venerated as Purushottama or Supreme Purusha in Vedic sacred texts like the
Bhagavad Gita, the Vedas and the Puranas. He is the Supreme Purusha of Purusha Sukta
• Life gets its empowerment from all the nine planetary energies and self effort. And when all of
them are powerful and in perfect harmony, life is sustained at its maximum level and effort also
functions at an elevated zone. The wearer of Ten-faced (10 mukhi) Rudraksha is protected from evil
eye.
• Provides eternal piece and happiness to the wearer. It is a real protective shield to the wearer.
• In the Puranas, Vishnu is described as having the divine blue color of water-filled clouds and as
having four arms. He is depicted as holding a padma or lotus flower in the lower left hand, a gada or
mace in the lower right hand, a shankha or conch in the upper left hand and a Sudarshana Chakra or
discus weapon in the upper right hand.
Vishnu’s earthly incamations have many avatars. His ten avatars are Matsyavatara (fish), Koorma
(tortoise), Varaaha (boar), Narasimha (the man lion), Vaamana (the dwarf), Parasurama (the angry
man), Lord Rama (the perfect human of the Ramayana), Lord Krishna (the divine diplomat and
statesman), and the yet to appear 10th incarnation called the Kalki avatar.
