Puja for Career and Success

This puja is performed by taking a Sankalpa (a sacred intention or vow) in your name, with the purpose of achieving success in your career or new business ventures. It is considered highly auspicious to worship the divine before embarking on such endeavors.

This results in removing the malefic effects of the planets in your birth chart and helps in radiating positive energies which further leads to success in life.

The worship of Lakshmi Narayana is central to this puja. Lord Narayana is the caretaker of the universe and the one who governs everything. In this ritual, the powerful hymns of **Sri Suktha** and **Purusha Suktha** are combined, which is believed to produce impeccable results for those seeking prosperity and success.

“Get clarity and peace of mind. Don’t guess — let the universe guide you.”

Navagraha Puja: Appeasing the Celestial Bodies

The term Navagraha refers to the nine celestial bodies central to astrological calculations: the sun, moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, and the two shadow planets, Rahu and Ketu. These nine "grahas" or planets in our horoscope govern our karma, desires, and their outcomes.

The influence each of these planets has on our lives is called a "dasa" and can be determined from one's horoscope. A Navagraha Puja is performed to mitigate negative effects and enhance the positive energies associated with a person.

The Grah Shanti Puja

When people say their time is "running bad," it's often attributed to the unfavorable positions of the grahas. A Grah Shanti Puja is performed to appease these planets. There are two ways to perform this puja:

  • If you know which graha is affecting you unfavorably, we can perform the puja for that specific planet.
  • We can analyze your Janma Patri (birth chart) to identify the specific graha and then perform the puja for it.

Benefits of a Navagraha Homa

A general-purpose Navagraha Homa is particularly effective for all doshas (negative influences) in a horoscope, especially during the challenging 7.5-year Saturn period. When performed for a specific Jathakam (horoscope), more mantras are recited for the particular grahas involved.

This homa is done to obtain the blessings of the Navagrahas, even if they are in a disadvantageous position. By performing this homa, Navagraha doshas are removed, and positive results will follow.

“Get clarity and peace of mind. Don’t guess — let the universe guide you.”

The Power of Nakshatra in Vedic Astrology

In Indian Vedic Astrology, the Nakshatra (the star constellation in which you are born) is considered a vital aspect of a person’s life. Your Nakshatra indicates your attitude, physical appearance, and even your future path.

It is mentioned in the Vedas that performing a Nakshatra Puja is highly important for one's well-being. This puja is performed once a year for an individual and is believed to bring about significant improvements and a better life.

Maha Mrityunjaya Homa: Victory Over Death

The Mrityunjaya Homa is a sacred ritual dedicated to Lord Shiva to achieve victory over death and a long, healthy life. It is performed to avoid untimely death and is an ideal ceremony for birthdays and for extending one's life. This powerful ritual is also a potent remedy for chronic illnesses, promoting a healthy life.

The Maha Mrityunjaya Homam

All scriptures praise the Maha Mrityunjaya mantra as the supreme one for health and longevity. The ceremony involves a Shiva Pooja, followed by the recital of the Sri Rudram hymn. The core of the ritual is the repeated chanting of the great Maha Mrityunjaya mantra. Finally, the Homa is performed by reciting the mantra. The more times the mantra is recited, the greater the benefits are believed to be.

Lord Shiva: The Supreme Deity

Of the Hindu Trinities — Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheswara — Lord Shiva is the most accessible and forgiving. In eternal union with Shakti, He is the creator. As Mahakala, He is the personification of death and the destroyer. The entire Tantra originated from Him. To attain various siddhis and objectives, He gave 64 yantras and their mantras to the world. As Nataraja, He is the presiding deity of dance and music. He is also the Male force in the Kundalini.

Hanuman and Bhairava are two of His famous avatars. His consort, Devi, is the Feminine Mother force of the universe. His son, Ganesha, is the remover of all obstacles and the ruler of all Vidyas.

Divine Connections

The two most holy rivers of India, Ganga and Narmada, are associated with Him. He is the presiding deity of the Holy Himalayas, and His consort Devi is the presiding deity of the Vindhyachala. Of the nine planets in Vedic astrology, seven have the Shiva family as their ruling deities:

  • Jupiter and Mars: Lord Shiva
  • Saturn: Lord Hanuman
  • Rahu: Bhairava
  • Moon, Venus, and Ketu: Devi

The Power of His Worship

The Sri Rudram hymn (chapter 16 and 18 of Yajurveda) dedicated to His worship is regarded as the remover of all sins and the giver of all one desires. It is recited while performing most of the homas. His Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra is considered the best remedy for health problems.
